Jeffer Mangels Adds New Attorney in Orange County
Patent Litigation Partner Gregory Cordrey
COSTA MESA, CA—April 12, 2010—Jeffer Mangels Butler & Marmaro LLP (JMBM) announced today that patent and trademark litigation attorney Gregory S. Cordrey has joined the firm’s Orange County office as partner. Cordrey, formerly of intellectual property litigation firm Howrey, focuses on technology patents, including those for manufacturing liquid crystal displays, internal combustion engines, aircraft electronics and interiors, and certain types of plastic containers. In the last several years, he has represented companies in patent infringements cases involving bio-medical products, construction equipment, specialty paper products, food containers, golf clubs and electrical components.
“We are continuing to grow our Orange County office by adding high-quality, experienced and entrepreneurial attorneys who are familiar with the needs of the surrounding business community,” said Bruce Jeffer, Managing Partner of JMBM.

Cordrey received his JD from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1997 as well as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Boston University in 1988 and an MBA from Pepperdine University in 1992. Before he began practicing law, Cordrey worked at McDonnell Douglas Corporation as an aerodynamic design and flight test engineer for several large transport aircraft.
