December 18, 2013 (Los Angeles, CA)—Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM) is pleased to announce the promotion of three associates and one of counsel to partner: Barbara A. Arnold in the Labor & Employment Department, Jessica Bromall Sparkman in the Intellectual Property Department, Jill R. Skinner in the Taxation and Trusts & Estates Department, and David A. Sudeck in the Real Estate Department. All four attorneys work in the Firm’s Los Angeles office.
Barbra A. Arnold is a labor attorney representing management in all facets of labor and employment law, including advice and counseling, traditional labor representation, employment litigation defense of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination claims, wage and hour class actions, and trade secret/unfair competition suits.
Jessica Bromall Sparkman is an intellectual property lawyer specializing in trademark, unfair competition, copyright law and patent law, including prosecution, enforcement, litigation and client counseling. Jessica also has experience in entertainment and intellectual property litigation in both state and federal courts.
Jill Skinner’s practice is focused on estate planning, post death administration, and negotiation and drafting of premarital agreements. She advises clients on a broad variety of matters from basic estate planning to complex planning to preserve wealth for generations. Jill’s clients include individuals, closely held businesses, institutional trustees, entrepreneurs and other professionals.
David A. Sudeck is a member of JMBM’s Global Hospitality Group® and the Firm’s Real Estate Department. He is a seasoned real estate attorney with extensive experience involving all types of commercial and mixed-use properties, particularly those involving a hospitality component. David represents clients primarily in the purchase and sale, development, construction, financing, leasing, and sale-leaseback of properties.
