JMBM Partner Marta Fernandez Elected President of the Jonathan Club

LOS ANGELES—Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM) is pleased to announce that Marta M. Fernandez, Chair of the Firm’s Labor & Employment Department, has been elected President of the Jonathan Club.

Founded in 1895, the Jonathan Club is a private social club located in Southern California. With over 3,900 members, it is the largest private club in Los Angeles.

With more than 30 years of experience advising management clients in labor and employment law, Fernandez specializes in management-labor relations, collective bargaining and representation in all aspects of labor law, as well as defending class actions in wage and hour, whistleblower, glass-ceiling and discrimination. Fernandez is the head of JMBM’s Labor & Employment Department, and her clients include multi-national corporations in health care, hospitality, financial services, retail, and other service industries.
