LOS ANGELES—Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM) is pleased to announce two new partners have joined the firm in its Los Angeles office: Marianne Martin and Jeffrey Groendal.
Previously a partner with Stradling Yocca, Marianne Martin’s experience includes advising clients on a variety of commercial, bankruptcy, restructuring, financing, and acquisition matters. Martin is currently the co-chair of the Southern California Chapter of TMA NOW, and was a panelist earlier this year for the Association for Corporate Growth’s 101 Women in Corporate Growth program. She received a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2005, and a B.S. from Boston University, magna cum laude, in 1998.
Jeffrey Groendal joins JMBM from Klinedinst PC, where he served as managing partner. His practice focuses on business transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, and real estate matters. Groendal received a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law (2007), where he was a founding member of the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law, and graduated from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, magna cum laude, in 2002.
