JMBM Partner M. Anthony (“Tony”) Brown was recently invited to participate in the “Inside Oral Argument” program at the American Bar Association’s 2018 Litigation Section Conference. Tony presented a model appellate oral argument based on a recent Supreme Court case before a panel of judges that included Hon. M. Margaret McKeown and Hon. John B. Owens, both of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. After the argument, Tony offered his expert advice on how to prepare for and deliver effective oral argument on appeal.
