LOS ANGELES—The Investment Capital Law Group of Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP (JMBM) is pleased to announce the publication of the Investment Law Blog, a legal resource for real estate developers, business owners, EB-5 Regional Centers, private fund managers, broker-dealers and investment advisers.
“The Investment Law Blog draws on the experience of our attorneys who have helped hundreds of owners, brokers, investment funds and investment managers raise, invest and manage capital from U.S. and non-U.S. investors,” said Catherine DeBono Holmes, Chair of JMBM’s Investment Capital Law Group. “Because many of our clients are using EB-5 financing as an important part of the capital stack for their projects currently, the blog has many articles addressing this topic.”
Holmes and her team have represented numerous developers and fund sponsors in obtaining financing through the EB-5 immigrant investor visa program for the development of hotels, multi-family and mixed-use developments throughout the U.S. She is also active in forming and obtaining approval of EB-5 Regional Centers.
“In addition to raising capital for U.S. real estate development and business, our corporate attorneys are involved in structuring offerings of investment securities, primarily for private investment, and conducting offerings of investment securities in compliance with U.S. federal and state securities laws, and foreign laws,” said William F.
