Entertainment Attorney E. Barry Haldeman 'Signs On' at JMBM

Los Angeles – January 9, 2007 – Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro LLP (JMBM), one of California’s foremost full-service law firms, today announced that entertainment attorney E. Barry Haldeman has joined the Firm as Of Counsel, bringing with him extensive entertainment experience, including a five-year stint as Executive Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs for Paramount Pictures.

During his many years of experience, Mr. Haldeman has represented Academy Award winning actors, directors, writers, authors, independent films and production companies. He is a founding member of the UCLA Entertainment Symposium and a member of its Advisory Committee. He will be chairing a panel for the March 2007 Symposium entitled "Superstar Actor, Writer, Director & Producer Deals."

Mr. Haldeman holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He received his Juris Doctorate from the UCLA Law School, where he graduated Cum Laude. He is a member of the Beverly Hills and the Los Angeles County Bar Associations, and the State Bar of California, as well as numerous entertainment industry organizations. He is counsel to the Earth Communications Office, an entertainment environmental group whose public service announcements have been seen by over 1 billion people worldwide.
